From early 2017 to the end of 2019, I spend making puppet characters and sets for two specific shows; one was to be for my honours degree and the other was quite separate and forms the basis of one of my picture book stories. Unfortunately, I had to drop further study and of course we all know what happened in early 2020. Here are only some of the latter; packed away the others before snapping them. So here is a short pictorial story of the picture book. The manuscript is currently out there searching for a publisher so can't tell you its title or the story at this stage.
I love these two. They have a special relationship. Other characters have their role in the story.

Speaking of other characters. Chaos ensues while all are created from brown paper, papier mâché or re-purposed cardboard packacking.
Even the 'gone wrongs' form a chorus.
It's a process to find the character.

Eventually, the personality comes through.
