What would happen if the Moon went missing from the night sky? Well…‘Nature would be worried…the tides wouldn’t know
if they’re coming or going...flowers would be confused and flop about'. Sky-girl the Moon washer, discovers that
keeping the Moon to herself has chaotic results but she sets things right after a kind star explains why the Moon looks so ill.

Poppy is ‘fun and clever, loves talking and eating biscuits, playing (giggly) football with his grandchildren and showing
them constellations but he gets sick and becomes so tired from being sick that he can’t open his eyes anymore’.
When Ella tells Mummy ‘how stars get into the sky’, it is comforting for both of them.
This is an especially gentle story about the death of a grandparent.
